March:recent purchases and outfits

hi anyone who is still here?.I thought I would blog today since I have some free time, yay!!!
We went shopping on Fri for a formal dress and then went to a formal on Sat! It was really lucky that we both got the dresses that we wanted without much fuss. Thanks Fenny for helping me !

Pandas and Unicorns-Haul

Just taking a sneaky break out to blog right now! I haven’t bought much this year yet, trying to be really good. (I might even sell some items here, to clear out my wardrobe. if anyone is interested?!)

But I managed to buy these shorts the other day. . . I had something to exchange in TOPSHOP anyway so I decided on these unicorn shorts! I know I know, they’re not panda!! but they’re black and white? if they had panda ones like these I would have bought them without thinking.

Wore them today. not very interesting but this is what I wore. hair is a mess.

Then my brother came back from HK and brought me back a lot of things! These Panda Slippers =]

Merry Christmas ^^

It’s Christmas eve, and I’m finally off uni yayy!
So I got an a reindeer jumper =] it’s from Topshop.I love it, it’s so super comfy and soft and keeps me nice and warm! Since it’s Christmas, a reindeer jumper seems more appropriate than a Panda one XD

and these are some pressies i received in the post, cant wait to open these!! feeling spoilt >.< And these are presents I got from my secret santa ^_^
what’s better than presents is that I get to spend Christmas with my whole family this year ^^. Last year was a quiet one because of the snow getting in the way ><
So anyway, if anybody reads this i wish you a really lovely and meaningful Christmas! Xx

Graduation

unfortunately my laptop got stolen just days before my graduation BUT I still have my netbook and iphone ^^.
so it’s a weird thing, I graduated but I’m still studying and wont be officially graduated and working until 2013! so here is what I wore:

^ fenny got the panda from my room and dressed him in graduation clothes !! I didn’t even notice he was gone. (since I have so many pandas in my room xD)

September: updates

2. Okay so just a few things I got from London over a week ago. Panda notepad and panda socks =] from Artbox, Selfridges



I had frozen yoghurt twice this week! I’m pretty sure all these froyo shops never existed a few years ago?

Coral outfit + DIY lace trim undershorts

I bought these shorts at TOPSHOP last week with my striped ones. ( I have so many pairs of shorts but i justify that by wearing them all year around !)
So i really liked this pale red/coral colour. They were super comfy as the material stretches ^^.
I wanted to put some lace trimming on these shorts because they look really short on me.
But I didn’t want to accidentally ruin a brand new pair of shorts so instead I decided to make lace trim undershorts that I could wear under anything ^^ (similar to the ones in this post but they were too tight and too thick/warm to wear underneath in the HK summer)
So here is my mini tutorial:


tip: measure the trimming around your legs first! or else get elasticated lace trimming. my tights were patterned but any tights/stockings will do.

^ they add a little something to plain shorts =]

^ my face looks funny here o.O
It just so happened this stripy top was an exact colour match to my shorts =]. The over knee socks are actually cut off from the original tights so no material was wasted = double DIY ^_^
p.p.s. I am going to Hong Kong in 3 days !
