Shrekfast with panda bread!

Super excited about this! So the bf brought me to Macau especially for this themed hotel breakfast. It is part of the Cotai, Dreamworks package and is at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Macau.

Such an awesome experience and a perfect start to the day!
The session starts at 9am, and lasts until 10.30am. It is like a showXbuffet breakfast.

The seats are set out like a fairytale banquet ^^
In terms of food, they have all the usual buffet breakfast foods of a nice hotel ( didn't take many photos of the regular food but they had a range of oriental and western breakfast foods) they also added in some cute features, for example, Panda bread!

Honestly just tastes like normal bread but OMG it's panda bread. I was very happy. My idea of a perfect breakfast: Eggs benedict and panda bread.

and did I mention they also had Panda baos?? These are filled with sweet red bean paste. So good!

So whilst you stuff your face with all the food, they bring out all the dreamworks characters, who dance on the stage and also give you a chance to take pictures with them! Po was very popular so I didn't manage to get a pic with him haha.

me with puss in boots

and with the penguin from madagascar!

Overall it was amazing and so worth it. Highly recommend it for the food itself, and especially if you're into dreamworks movies! it's great for kids and adults too. Plus it's not only for children, it seemed that more of the people there were adults actually. Bear in mind it is hosted by a hotel/casino!

Visiting Cafe R&C

much awaited date afternoon! We went to this little hidden cafe in CausewayBay.

The first thing I shall warn you about is, try to avoid going on a Satuday/weekends. we went and had to wait for a table. Waiting for a table is fine, but when it's HOT and sunny outside.. standing in a queue for even 15 minutes can seem like forever.

melting in the heat!!^
So we decided to go around the corner to another shop called 'Waffill' to get a filled waffle whilst we waited. This was quite an experience too. Waffle filled with chicken, anyone? I think I would get a sweet waffle next time instead :)

OK back to the point of the blog, the R&C Cafe. The attraction of this place is the cute coffeeart! They have Green Tea Lattes with different designs, such as the Alien from Toy Story, Mike from Monster's Inc, cute bears, etc! Check out more pics here

 cappucino with 3d coffeeart!

We shared a dessert: french toast with ice cream. Delicious! They also serve different pasta/main courses for dinner too.

Overall it's worth a visit, has a nice comfortable atmosphere inside too, personal service and with free Wifi. I would go back again =)

Hello Hong Kong

Hi readers! I finally had some time to relax a little and blog. I have recently moved to Hong Kong! If you didn't know already, I used to work full-time in the UK, now that my adventures have brought me to HK permanently, you should see more of me on here :)

Just a little update: I got a new camera! which means more photos and blog posts yay!
So I had the privilege of flying first class from London to Hong Kong courtesy of Virgin Atlantic! Since I usually fly economy, this was a massive upgrade!! I was trying to take pictures, whereas people around me were looking at me like I had 2 heads. I had to do it discreetly.Putting my feet up because I can!! Do you like my new shoes?

proper headphones are provided :)

a cocktail to begin with, and some crisps.

This was dinner time! amazing, the table some how folds out electrically from nowhere, and the air hostess came and dressed the table with a nice table cloth, salt and pepper shakers and real cutlery.

Starters

Main course

Dessert

after dessert the table was put away, my seat converted into a flat bed! with mattress and duvet cover, oh and of course a seatbelt on top haha. I didn't tell you they also provided us with cotton pajamas!

I had a good rest and woke to a nice breakfast-in-bed

and that's it ! the best flying experience ever! I had a very enjoyable time, I don't particularly like flying as it scares me sometimes, but this definitely made it a whole lot better :)

So that's it I am now in Hong Kong! Will be back soon with more blog posts ^^ p.s. there is a panda in this blog post ;)
