Hi everyone =] Valentines day is coming soon! What are you giving your loved one(s)?
I thought this year I would make an effort and try to make some chocolates! Here is a small selection I made, just as a practice run... I think I might be giving them out to friends and family too, ^__^ just to show some love =P
Oh course I made a panda one ^___^
I will try to show you how I made the heart ones
I used these silicon moulds that I got for £1!
*Tip*: The best way to melt chocolate is in a sandwich bag immersed in hot water.
1. melt some White chocolate and Plain chocolate
Fill a mould with plain chocolate, but not fully, leave a dip in the middle
Let it set in the fridge then take it out, and squeeze in some white melted chocolate. (cut the corner of the bag)
looks like a custard tart....
To draw hearts, put a circle of plain chocolate dots on top whilst the white chocolate is still melted
Using a toothpick, run it all around the circle of dots, and you will get a hearts effect!!
You can do this the other way around too, with white hearts instead. Also, if you don’t have moulds, you can just make chocolate buttons and do the same effect ( seen in the first picture )
I hope this helps, or gives some inspiration! <3
