Coral outfit + DIY lace trim undershorts

I bought these shorts at TOPSHOP last week with my striped ones. ( I have so many pairs of shorts but i justify that by wearing them all year around !)
So i really liked this pale red/coral colour. They were super comfy as the material stretches ^^.
I wanted to put some lace trimming on these shorts because they look really short on me.
But I didn’t want to accidentally ruin a brand new pair of shorts so instead I decided to make lace trim undershorts that I could wear under anything ^^ (similar to the ones in this post but they were too tight and too thick/warm to wear underneath in the HK summer)
So here is my mini tutorial:


tip: measure the trimming around your legs first! or else get elasticated lace trimming. my tights were patterned but any tights/stockings will do.

^ they add a little something to plain shorts =]

^ my face looks funny here o.O
It just so happened this stripy top was an exact colour match to my shorts =]. The over knee socks are actually cut off from the original tights so no material was wasted = double DIY ^_^

DIY Usagi Headbands + Giveaway [CLOSED]**

Hello ^^. I got a sewing machine for Christmas, and since then my mind has been going wild with all the ideas of things to make! Too bad I don’t have too much spare time ><.
But these were simple and easy to make, each took about 10 minutes once I figured out how to make them. ( I’ve made a whole batch of them now!) Basically I used (new) garden wire for the inside, and the rest is kind of self explanatory if you know how to sew, right?

I made a longer and a shorter version. The Longer one can be made into a heart, or whatever shape you can think of =]

Shorter ones, to be worn as a bow or rabbit ears, whatever you think they look like.

Perfect for Chinese New Year of the Bunny and for upcoming Valentines day ^___^

Oh.XP (the bf) bought me these. They are the limited edition Hello Panda biscuits for the Asian cup ! I think I will keep them forever.

Cute Food + Deco

These used to be real macaroons. I covered them in clear nail varnish and glue. I also added Deco Whipped cream in between them. I also put in phone charm strings into the cream!

so there you have it. Macaroon phone charms ^^ sweet but not bad for you xD

My First Decoden Phone cover! p.s. I’m still waiting for my white iphone 4 =p. Or I might just get a black one and use this case ^^

Pandas Everywhere and DIY envelope purse

If you read my previous blog posts you may know that people like to send me panda things ^__^. So, the other day I received a whole package of cute stationery/fabrics with pandas all over =). If you want to send me panda stuff, you are very welcome^^

Okay so, I thought I would do something with the fabric and buttons. I decided to make a pencil case/pouch thingy. This took me about 3 hours in total. It was an experiment, I didn't know exactly what I was doing but I think it turned out okay =)



The inside is lined with the other fabric, can you spot the panda?
It took me a while to work out how to fasten the pouch, in the end I put an elastic string at the top. 

I actually realised at the end that it can be reversible XD So I added another button =) I can’t decide which side I like more now ><
