So here’s a long overdue circle lens review– badly done too. I took the photos about 2 weeks ago in a hurry. was going to take more today but I don’t even know where my camera is right now =_=

been in the mood to cook lately. I tried to make Dukbokki. It turned out OK but was really spicy lol.

Then I also made sushi!!! this was super yummy and really easy to make =] I also made kim chi on the side. Used the recipe from Maangchi.com

There’s crab roe, prawn, crabmeat, salmon, cucumbers…

apple and cinnamon + chocolate froyo. strange combo.. I didn’t like it =[

saw these really cute mini cupcakes whilst out shopping! they are perfect for valentine’s day. Unfortunately I am being so lazy this year and probably won’t have time to make anything. But I would so make these if I could! (would love to receive one too! haha.)

and the latest thing I bought was this. LTD edition Crème brûlée vaseline! smells so good !! but was pricy at £2.99

So now I’m free! I was in a pretty bad mood yesterday after the exam so I ate some panda biscuits..

Pandas and Unicorns-Haul

Just taking a sneaky break out to blog right now! I haven’t bought much this year yet, trying to be really good. (I might even sell some items here, to clear out my wardrobe. if anyone is interested?!)

But I managed to buy these shorts the other day. . . I had something to exchange in TOPSHOP anyway so I decided on these unicorn shorts! I know I know, they’re not panda!! but they’re black and white? if they had panda ones like these I would have bought them without thinking.

Wore them today. not very interesting but this is what I wore. hair is a mess.

Then my brother came back from HK and brought me back a lot of things! These Panda Slippers =]

highlights of my 2012..so far

So since the last time I blogged, I have been so busy… mainly eating and hanging out with friends =]. So I guess I’ll just post some photo highlights of my 2 weeks.. mainly involving a lot of food.

The manager was super nice and knew I like BIGBANG, he gave me this A4 sized BIGBANG folder ^_^ and my friends got 2NE1 and SHINee stickers!!

Happy New Year everyone =] I just thought I would blog today, to mark the first day of 2012! Anyway, some recent pics:

^toffee banana dessert my family shared on our last family dinner of 2011 =]

The last lunch I had, in the only Korean restaurant in town. Had BiBimbap, chicken wings and soon dubu ^^

So the other day I also got back my Instax polaroid camera that was stolen!^^ It was a little scratched but still works <3 I will keep it safe from now on, in the new camera bag I got for Christmas !!

I will wear it a lot ^^

^my shirt says. Live as if you will die tomorrow, Learn as if you will live forever. A good quote to start off the year =]

^ the back of the case is also removable, so you can make it more obvious that you’re wearing a camera, if you so wish xD

And oh. I got another Christmas present!! It was late so I didn’t show it earlier, it’s a massive Panda pillow, all the way from Korea ^^ Thank you F!! you can see how big it is compared to the artbox panda, i got a few months back!

So yeah I hope everyone who reads this has a really good year, Make the most of every opportunity ~!

There are many things I would like to do/change this year, for example: do more exercise, really learn and be able to speak read write Korean, brush up on my Chinese skills too for my summer placement, Keep playing more pieces for piano, spend more quality time with friends and family, work harder at Uni.. etc and the list goes on!! But it is all summed up in one New years resolution: To organize my time wisely and not procrastinate, allowing me to have more time to do all the things I want to do.

One of my favourite presents is this instax camera bag and the cute mickey and hello kitty films! I just need to wait until I get a replacement polaroid camera ( since mine got stolen =[)

I tried the BB cream already, it gives quite a light coverage though and feels more like a moisturiser than the missha BB cream I normally use. I’m liking it though =]

It’s Christmas eve, and I’m finally off uni yayy! As much as I Love my course I really really needed a break to get me refreshed again, and it couldn’t have come at a better time =] Despite all the bad that’s happened to me in the past week or 2, life is good!! :D

So I got an early Christmas present from X. A reindeer jumper =] it’s from Topshop.I love it, it’s so super comfy and soft and keeps me nice and warm! Since it’s Christmas, a reindeer jumper seems more appropriate than a Panda one XD

and these are some pressies i received in the post, cant wait to open these!! feeling spoilt >.< And these are presents I got from my secret santa ^_^

what’s better than presents is that I get to spend Christmas with my whole family this year ^^. Last year was a quiet one because of the snow getting in the way ><

So anyway, if anybody reads this i wish you a really lovely and meaningful Christmas! X

Graduation no.1

unfortunately my laptop got stolen just days before my graduation BUT I still have my netbook and iphone ^^.

so it’s a weird thing, I graduated but I’m still studying and wont be officially graduated and working until 2013! so here is what I wore:

Om nom. They were so yummy.

Left my mark on an ipad in a supermarket! As you can see, that’s how my hair was before. I decided I didn’t like it so light, it was too gingery and I hate seeing my roots so I decided to dye my hair dark again..

used this hair dye. Love it! it’s the best non-Asian brand that actually works for me and makes my hair feel really soft afterwards! It does what it says on the box. =]

and this is my hair now.. almost black but not quite ^^ I will probably get bored of it soon but at the moment I like having dark hair again.

This is the BB cream I’ve been trying out lately. (Elisha Coy) My mum brought it back for me from HK. I’m loving the compact powder but the cream is a little sticky in my opinion and doesn’t seem to provide much coverage.

BIGBANG 화이팅!

So today I woke up and saw the special EMA episode from MTV Korea you can briefly see us saying “BIGBANG fighting” !! Ahh. The memories. I had so much fun with you girls =]

My favourite part of the video was actually when TOP kissed Taeyang during the interview. xD

SO CUTE.

Anyway. So I’ve just been studying all week. back to reality. Took this photo when I was mega bored studying. My happy pills!

After my exam we went out for dinner to celebrate Fenny’s birthday! and this is her cake. It was so yummy! basically like a pavlova but rolled up and crammed full of strawberries and cream. I need to learn how to make this!

Meeting BIGBANG and ZICO in Belfast

5th November 2011: BIGBANG and Zico arrived in Belfast for the MTV EMAs and it turned my weekend upside down!

We found out BIGBANG were arriving in Belfast on the 5th November so we went to the airport.. around 20 VIPs only! it was a very small crowd and so the airport staff were nice enough to let BIGBANG walk through us =]

Since the day of the flight was one day after TOP’s birthday, I decided to buy him a gift and see if I would be lucky enough to give him it ^^.

My gift to TOP was a rock candy and the label says

생일 축하 합니다 “Happy Birthday”

So we all waited at the arrivals part and they walked out !!! Here’s my Fancam:

Panda Halloween Costume

Sorry for the lack of blog posts again! I’ve been busy with uni as usual. but I went to an early halloween party a few days ago!

So what did I dress up as? : Yep. you guessed it. a panda :P

I’ve worn my kigu for halloween many times now ! =] this time I also drew my eyes and nose with eyeliner, and put my hair into two buns for "ears” took me about 10 minutes in total :)

Oh. forgot about these biscuits last time, I bought them in London. They are so yummy! you have to try =] the centre is filled with a green tea mouse ^^

1. Thanks for your sympathy about my iphone4. I had no insurance but I took it to the apple store and within 10 minutes, the lovely workers at the genius bar gave me a brand new one (Free of charge) to replace my broken one that I stupidly dropped down the toilet. Thank you Apple ♥ ! This was a day before Steve Jobs death =[ super sad!! I will appreciate my new iphone and look after it well =’)

2. Since I have a working phone and backed up pictures, I didn’t lose any photos! Now I can blog another bday present. a Fujifilm Piano black 50S. Thank u XP!!!

watching my first polaroid picture develop! I was so excited I just grabbed my closest panda and took a ‘selca’ =p

Love it ! Will take more when I go to London again next week!!

This box reminds me of how I wandered to alone to get it on my last day of Hong Kong and got lost along the way back! It was worth it though =] I will hopefully get using it soon! need to learn to make a nicely decorated bento lunch!

This is a panda bag that’s made out of bamboo! got it last week at a Uni fair =]

mmmm and these are macarons all the way from Ladurée, Paris!! Thanks L and C! They are the nicest macarons I’ve ever had ! o.O soo yummy. (especially the cream inside. . . .)

a quick update: I dropped my beloved iphone4 into the toilet so and now it won’t turn on =[. now I’m suffering withdrawal symptoms! mainly missing whatsapp, the camera, and photography apps >_<

I also lost photos which I was supposed to blog (hence why this post is random) for my birthday haul part 3 and the fish eye camera lens review, so they will just have to wait.

Geo Tear Brown Circle lens review

Hi everyone ! Another circle lens review! These were sent to me by Mukuchu. I chose these ones because I thought the design was nice. They are supposed to give you a teary eyed effect.

Diameter:14mm Comfort ★★★★☆ (geo lens always seem to be more comfortable than EOS in my opinion)

loving these lenses ^^ they are special but natural looking =] can be worn for any occasion and are comfortable too.
as for the tear-ness: it doesn’t really make you look like you’re teary but it gives you a slight glint in your eyes!

2. Okay so just a few things I got from London over a week ago. Panda notepad and panda socks =] from Artbox, Selfridges

We spent a long time in Topshop (yay for student discount!) and I bought this:

It was kind of an impulse buy since I already have a similar Coat! Just can’t get enough of the sailor collars ><’ And I’ve been wearing it too often. you may have spotted it in my previous post too XD

Also bought these high waisted shorts in Topshop.

3.random.I had frozen yoghurt twice this week! I’m pretty sure all these froyo shops never existed a few years ago? Try out chai latte flavour if you haven’t, its quite nice ^^

So after I got back from Hong Kong I went off to London to visit my cousins again (just for a few days) :3 This time we went to Selfridges to shop as I haven’t actually properly walked in there! It’s so big we didn’t get around it all >< But I saw the Artbox store and I loved it ^^ Haul post next time =]

Pierre Herme Macarons at Selfridges ! They are super expensive >___<

I also went to Trocadero to see the Ho panda shop, only to realize that it moved to a bigger store right at the front of the shopping centre! You can’t miss it now, but to be honest I prefer it the way it used to be. Also, this time I went, they didn’t let me take any photos/video T__T

I also attended a wedding ceremony one of the days I was in London >< I didn’t even have a proper outfit as I found out so last minute! I’m wearing my casual fake-shoe lace flats I got from HK and a navy polka dot playsuit with lace vest. I felt a little underdressed =_=

ok so another day we went to Westfield shopping centre, London, another place I have never been! I saw SNOG and I had to have one ^^

For my last dinner I wanted Korean food so we went to Assa, in Soho, London ^^ I love bibimbap!!

we also had a pork hotpot and seafood pancake!

Another thing ! my cousins brought me to a Kpop event in London, which was fun ^^ I wore: sheer creamy shirt from Hong Kong, Pull and Bear floral shorts and my brown/cream shoes from HK.

what was special about this party was that they were giving out GD/TOP albums and I actually won one! I was so happy XD

inside the album there’s a book of photos ^__^

I came home with some Krispy Kreme Donuts ^^ I will show what I bought in a haul post later :)

I also bought this Panda top that came with the stripy long top/dress inside. Cost 50HKD from the Argyle Centre, Mong Kok ( super cheap!)

I love it but I think it’s a little too short for me to wear just as a dress, so I’m wearing it with these shorts + belt which are also from the argyle centre.

I got my hair cut in layers =( that’s why it looks shorter on one side here. I don’t like it *sigh* but it will grow back again eventually =]

I hope you liked my panda haul =] That’s all I got I think! but actually..there’s one more thing, I will blog about it another time ^^

Panda House Frozen Yoghurt in MK

One place I had on my list to visit in Hong Kong was the Panda House Frozen Yoghurt shop in Mong Kok. So I finally got to go last week and I loved it SO much ! I actually prefer it to the panda cafe ^^

So basically it’s just a little frozen yoghurt shop, that sells Hokkaido milk yoghurt. You get the yoghurt then you are free to put whatever toppings you like!

I chose Mochi, strawberries and Oreo bits! The yoghurt was so creamy !!! ahh it was so nice. I want to go back. ><

Air con is good inside too! and you can sit on the benches whilst you eat =] and they don’t mind you taking photos !

So there you go, another panda place in Hong Kong! It was quite hard to find, but go here for the map/directions.

Thank you to Y for accompanying me on finding the place! It was definitely worth it ^^

highlights of my trip to macao

I went on a family trip to Macao last weekend ^^ we stayed in the Venetian hotel/casino ! It was so beautiful and super big! my photos don’t do it justice I’m afraid!

inside the shopping mall there is a fake sky! it was night time outside but always daytime inside

first meal/snack I had was bibimbap! because I felt like eating korean food ! since the place reminds me of the drama Boys Over Flowers xD

outside there was a couple taking wedding photos! so cute :)

the hotel rooms were amazing. . I had a double bed to myself xD

the bridge where Jun Pyo and Jan di stood !

hehe, this man was actually singing his heart out so loud and was really good! we didn’t get to ride the boat in the end tho :(

The main reason we went to macao was to see the amazing show at the House of Dancing water – City of Dreams. It was like a water acrobatics show with ballet, music and a storyline! I loved it ^^

We also visited the Ice world at the venetian

it had loads of ice sculptures inside and was pretty cool- I mean, freezing !! we couldn’t last long inside.. even with the free coats!

And there was even an iced panda!!

Random update from HK (lots of FOOD)

Just a quick blog mainly of all the food I’ve been eating :p I went to this cafe in Langham place called suzuki, the iced green tea matcha is so good ^^

mmm and had some snacks!

another day I went to have sushi!! this was so yummy nom nom!!

ooh and if you’re in HK you need to try this banana ice lolly ! it looks like a banana and you can peel it but it’s actually not banana flavoured !

so XP and I went to the peak! looking down on HK .

we ate at bubba gump! the restaurant based on the forrest gump movie ^^ it was so nice

these were the starters only! they were American sized so they were super big., in the end we had to cancel the main courses cause we were full already!!

I didn’t get the panda ball in the end but got this big panda foldable pillow! like the one I had before but this one is a lot bigger xD

he bought me it ^^ but he’s gone now back home >< and I’m still here...enjoying myself !

Visit to Panda House Cafe

Hi I’m back! a friend recommended this panda cafe to me so we all went there like last week! (yes I am behind on my blog posts ><)

There are a lot of these cafes in Mong Kok, Hong Kong where you can eat, drink coffee, sit for as long as you want, use the free wifi and also play board games! But this one is special in that it is panda themed!

Panda decorated chocolate drinks were by far the best things in the cafe!!

the food was Ok, I had this cheesy pasta bake.

we played monopoly deal! xD and also a panda game on a friends ipad haha =]

Hong Kong is panda heaven

hello! I finally found some time to relax and blog. I bought 3 phone covers all at once! They were so cute I couldn’t decide which one so I got them all! They cost 100 HKD altogether (from argyle centre in Mong kok)

Also got these iphone/ipad stickers

But I only wanted the panda one really :P

so yes I am loving Hong Kong =] Will be here for another 3 weeks so it’s all good ^^

went to take a cable car to Ngong ping, which is somewhere up high where the big Buddha is. I was actually really scared here >__< this is a fake scared smile.

the whole thing stopped whilst we were still on the cable car ><’ so scary we were hanging there just swaying with the wind! I managed to take this photo with my phone- simply amazing but scary at the same time.

(yes this blog post is random). these are shoes I bought the other day, thought they were cute with fake shoelaces =] they are a bit like Toms, except not Toms :p

and here’s some food !! I love all food here especially these roast goose noodles, with an iced Horlicks drink! so yummy =]

and another day we went to Korean BBQ. all you can eat buffet. so yum and so fun !!!

hello, I’ve been so busy with family and friends that I haven’t even taken many photos! it’s taking it’s toll on me because now I’m slightly ill with a cold, due to lack of sleep and super cold air con!=_= Anyway, it was my mum’s birthday and we bought her these flowers. so cute.

Also ordered a haagen dazs ice cream cake! cost around $350 HKD ! it was mango flavour and so yummy! there wasn’t even any cake though, it’s full ice cream ^___^

mmmm and I’ve been eating sushi a lot again.

and congee for breakfast.

Food and shopping in Hong Kong

hello! I made it to Hong Kong =D

So one of the first things I bought were goodies from Sasa. SPF 65 and SPF 130 suncream- an essential for me to prevent getting a tan whilst I’m here and also to protect my skin!

^ on the left is something I picked up by majolica majorca (sp?) and it’s called aurora tear liner. It’s supposed to go on your eyelashes and look like a tear, to give the effect that you’ve been crying.! lol not sure why I would like to look like I’ve been crying but. for some reason I just wanted to try this out! Will review it another time.

^ i bought the fairydrops mascara for going to the beach/ swimming in! because apparently it’s super waterproof =] and I tried it out, it really is waterproof. Plus it has fibres too like fiberwig and the way the brush is shaped it makes your lashes curl =] I actually really like this mascara.

my first and favourite dinner in HK ^_^ sushi!! and it’s so cheap here too compared to UK

yummy curry fish balls.

I also bought missha bb cream and some eyemakeup remover from skinfood.I really needed this as the Fairydrops mascara was so stubborn it didn’t come off with normal facial cleansers!

And in HK there really are panda things everywhere you look! I bought these 2 pairs of socks:

oh and this is my favourite buy so far. it was only 129HKD which is like, £10 !! who needs an expensive designer wallet when you can have a cute panda one with polka dot lining ? =]

Coral outfit + DIY lace trim undershorts

I bought these shorts at TOPSHOP last week with my striped ones. ( I have so many pairs of shorts but i justify that by wearing them all year around !)

So i really liked this pale red/coral colour. They were super comfy as the material stretches ^^.

I wanted to put some lace trimming on these shorts because they look really short on me.

But I didn’t want to accidentally ruin a brand new pair of shorts so instead I decided to make lace trim undershorts that I could wear under anything ^^ (similar to the ones in this post but they were too tight and too thick/warm to wear underneath in the HK summer)

So here is my mini tutorial:

tip: measure the trimming around your legs first! or else get elasticated lace trimming. my tights were patterned but any tights/stockings will do.

^ they add a little something to plain shorts =]

^ my face looks funny here o.O

It just so happened this stripy top was an exact colour match to my shorts =]. The over knee socks are actually cut off from the original tights so no material was wasted = double DIY ^_^

hi everyone. my photo is being used in various FB circle lens stores >< and this is not the first time!I contacted this shop already but got ignored.

(not going to link to them because that would be free advertising!)

i was quite shocked when i saw my face among them o.O I reviewed these lenses a while back here.

they cut out my blog address ! T_T

Anyway. I’m not too fussed, I will take it as a compliment, but I’m annoyed because I reviewed the lenses for mukuchu and not anyone else! There’s not much I can do about it =[ So, if you see my photo being used inappropriately by Facebook shops please help me report them! Thank u ^_^

gel eyeliner and OOTD

so I ran out of eyeliner and decided to try something different, and it just so happened this caught my eye. It was only 5.99 (normally 7.99) at Superdrug =]

My review: it works really well, very deep black colour and it is really easy to use ( it was my first time using gel liner and I thought it wasn’t much different to using felt tip/liquid liner)

The only bad thing is that it really does last long and is really difficult to remove! Also it smudges quite easily >< and the smudge marks are also v hard to remove! Overall I’m still happy with it, I will finish using it but probably won’t buy it again.

Also got these high waisted striped shorts from Topshop. will be wearing them minus the tights in HK.

and that reminds me. only 10 days left =]

Wholesale-dress.net haul/review

hi everyone :) This is a mini haul I received from Wholesale-dress.net.I was sponsored these items but I am not being paid to do this review, it’s just my own honest opinion.

I chose these items:- a hair bow, lace trim under-shorts and a panda cushion!

This is the hair bow up close:-

I was really happy with the hair bow since it matches my hair colour really well and it’s the same as the photo on the website.

For the lace trim under-shorts you can tell that the pattern of the lace is slightly different to the image on the website, and the quality is not as good. Also, you can see in the first picture they are really small! even though they stretch, they felt quite tight >< so be careful if you are ordering these! they would probably fit a UK size 4-6 perfectly. (definitely not ‘one size fits all’)

oh and I decorated another cake a few days ago. My Melody =] It reminded me of a really cute blogger, Melludee !

This is the piano piece I am trying to learn at the moment. super hard! that’s as far as I’ve got ><. (15 seconds) oh and that’s my piano. it’s a digital one, that’s why I would really love a real grand piano! One good thing though is that it never goes out of tune, and I can play anytime with headphones on =]

anyway. gotta do some work now. Only 3 weeks until HK!

I Had my last piano lesson before the summer holidays today ! I will miss this grand piano at the music school =]. I want my own one ><

so, I bought new tights the other day.I know it’s summer and all but weather in UK is so unpredictable and mostly cold =(. so anyway, these are my new favourite tights =]

It’s from Topshop- bought on ebay because it was actually in stores last year, I remember wanting them then I totally forgot! but lucky because it was £45 in Topshop, And I got it for £25 on ebay, still brand new with tags =]

Hello, Haven’t been blogging for a while because of Uni work =[ but once I get my dissertation handed in I will be free, then I’m hopefully going to Hong Kong for summer! Will anybody be there in July?!

Anyway so I will just put up some more random recent photos, mainly of food, because I love food! and I’m sure you can spot a panda somewhere.

So I went to have more frozen yoghurt the other day, but they didn’t have green tea flavour =[

it was nice but it wasn’t as good as the SNOG i had in London mmm

We ate so much when we were together! I baked some chocolate brownies, modelled here by my cousin Rachel. I hope she starts blogging again soon!!

And my latest cake art:- Guess who again! haha.

By the way, so many people ask me for tutorials for these, but all I can say is it’s very difficult! It’s drawn using chocolate icing in a tube, then filling in the colour using shaved coloured chocolate, but it’s really hard to not get the shavings outside the line! I actually really enjoy making these because it’s therapeutic in some way. . . like colouring in when I was little, trying to stay inside the line.

It was for my niece (cousin’s daughter) or second cousin? Well anyway, Happy Birthday Amy! I wasn’t very happy with it in the end I think I messed up the blue one! ( bum bum baa or gee gee ja?)

My cousins took me to this place called SNOG, which sells frozen yoghurt.

Green tea frozen yoghurt with strawberries, blackberries and Mochi!! it was so yummy =] and good for you ^^

We went to eat Korean food, because I haven’t eaten Korean food since I was a little girl on holiday in Korea! Bibimbap before it was mixed.

DIY Bow Back Dungarees

[I do DIY things randomly as ideas just pop into my head.] Anyway so I bought these dungarees a long time ago off ebay but didn’t wear them because the straps were too short for me, as I wanted to wear them slightly lower down, they were too big to be worn high waisted.So I left them in my wardrobe until now!

So here’s the back, and the bow tie I never wear anymore.. and so I decided to combine them

it was sad to cut up this bow tie but I really don’t wear it anymore and rather use it this way!

basically I just cut the straps and attached the bow like this:

Started to wear this hoody my mother bought me from Hong Kong the [ChoCOOLate Shop]<- see photos there. It’s one store in HK that attracts me every time I walk past, full of black and white, polka dots and also navy/white in the summer time!! but it actually has more menswear, but recently started to stock more female clothing ^^
I hardly wear hoodies anymore, but I like this because it’s so panda. The pockets and hood are furry too.
(yes, it’s still cold enough to wear this where I am!)

Swap and Easter chocolate Haul + food. .

I had another swap with Rena to swap away the missha BB cream! So I got her package a few days ago =] This is what I got:- she drew me a really cute panda picture on the letter hehe

^ NYX mascaras, and something nicely wrapped up!

More mascara and Revlon liquid eyeliner! I tried it out and it’s really easy to use and really does stay on all day! thank you!!
Also this cute lip gloss from e.l.f.
but my favourite thing was actually this chewing gum!

^ it smells amazing when you open the seal O.O and when chewing it you get the minty freshness plus a hint of chocolate =) we can’t get this over here in the UK so I was really surprised when I saw it!
Okay so, Easter is coming up and I wasn’t expecting any Easter eggs, I don’t really particularly like chocolate on it’s own very much! But anyway, the BF bought me this giant cupcake shaped chocolate. .

I don’t know how I’m going to start eating this ><

mmm also,I tried Pad Thai for the first time ever yesterday so i had to document it here.=p. I wanted to try it because I watched "We Got Married" and the KhunToria couple eat it and they make it look delicious!!

So we had sunny weather on Friday and so the bf and I drove around in his convertible with the top down!

Loblography Challenge results!

Remember I received the Diana F+ a few weeks ago, as part of the ‘loblography’ challenge? Well the results are out and it turns out that I won ! *_____*

I was up against some amazing bloggers too and I thought their Lomography photos were so good o.O!Thank you all so much for your help because I couldn’t have won without your comments and likes!!

Hello Kitty Eyeliner and Panda cookies

YAY I won my very first giveaway! I’ve entered so many giveaways and this is the very first time I’ve ever won one! So I was very excited ^^ Thanks again to Edwina =]!

I won this Hello Kitty mini eyeliner pencil set, I’m not a big fan of hello Kitty but it’s So cute!

I tried it out the day I got it! the pencils are really nice too, they are really creamy and draw on your skin easily.

^ I used the black (goodnight dreams), brown (Chocolate milk) and cream (Happy cloud) here. The creamy colour is my favourite! it’s like, pearly =)

So yeah, I really love the set, Thank you!! ^___^

I also got some panda things from Hong Kong (more panda stuff I know!!) from L and C Thank you so much! I will blog the rest later, but here are panda cookies which are so cute and also taste really yummy because I ate 2 already >< I’m thinking of making them myself one day. yay! my next baking project!

Panda Cardigan ^__^

So my panda cardigan came the other day!

It was quite big ( men’s large) so I had to alter it with my sewing machine ! It’s still a loose fit though, I might fix it again sometime

Do you like it? Recently some of my real life ‘friends’ have been being making cheeky remarks/teasing me for my love for pandas =( . . .

For example, one day someone just started teasing me, because I was wearing my blazer ( that has a panda badge on it ) is it so wrong that I like pandas? =__=

EOS Baby Colour Grey Circle Lenses Review

The black circle is quite small so there’s not much enlargement and they look more natural.

Random update. Thank you to H for choosing me these panda biscuits! =] I never need to buy my own panda biscuits because people keep giving me them.. Never tried these before! the box is so funny I laughed for a while at it. . .

hmmm. I think I’ve been quite good lately with my purchases! Times like these you have to realise that money should be used wisely- e.g. to help Japan and suffering people in the world.

but i have to confess..I did cut down but not completely.

Recent buy- this meshed knit jumper thing. . . I didn’t really need it to be honest >.<

I also just purchased this panda cardigan. . and it’s for men, so I will have to do a lot of altering with my sewing machine to make it fit me, but I just. . . couldn’t resist =____=

Sweet Panda bread recipe

So, after many attempts at the panda bread I finally have an OK recipe that tastes yummy =] So thought I would share with you ^^ (p.s. idea inspired by a Japanese cooking site )

This panda bread is sweet and the taste & texture reminds me of Chinese man tou- [饅頭]

Here is what you need:

300g plain flour
1egg,
20g butter,
1 cup of milk
3 large tablespoons of sugar
5g dried yeast
Drinking chocolate or cocoa powder (darker),
Pandan paste ( or green food colouring)

place the following into a bowl and mix with a dough hook. [Gradually adding in the milk]

You should end up with a sticky-ish dough

Split the dough

knead the colours into the 2 doughs ( i did this by hand)

you should end up with 3 dough pieces

* preheat your oven to a low heat *

keep each one in cling film until you are ready to build the panda. You can leave them for a while but I don’t. Then build the panda, something like this:-

and leave the oven (switched off) for about 40 minutes, then cook at 180C for 30 minutes.

You should end up with a nicely risen loaf. The results may vary, I tried it many times and every time I got a different ‘panda face’ So it’s quite exciting really!!

This one has long ears! ^

^ the first one I made that didn’t taste as good but looked the best.

This one looks ok! and tasted yummy.

serve with condensed milk ^_^

I eat the green parts then leave the panda to the last. . .( ‘Pandan’ flavour is really nice if you have never tried it! it gives the bread a really nice smell. )

You can use this method to make whatever you like really, doesn’t have to be a panda. =]

Shopping is one of my weaknesses and I tend to buy things that I end up forgetting to wear =_= ! So I found this tunic/dress in my wardrobe and it’s never been worn, so as much as I love it, it needs to go to a better home =] plus, i need to make space in my wardrobe for some more clothes I bought >.<
So selling it on my ebay starting at 99p.
I will be adding more items later on =)

DIY scallop shorts tutorial [& panda biscuits]

have you ever experienced this?. . . you go online shopping on TOPSHOP and you see something you like at the top of the screen on the models. But when you go looking for it, it’s either sold out or it’s not even listed T___T . So I saw these scalloped denim shorts and thought they were really cute, but they were sold out or else I would have bought them already >_<

So I decided I could make my own ! Here’s my tutorial:
Get a pair of jeans that you don’t wear anymore..
* these were actually dark denim shorts but I just bleached them. [pure bleach for 20 mins then wash]
I drew on the scallop freehand with a normal pen =P

I used my sewing machine to embroider over the line! this was tricky but doable! and it doesn’t have to be neat.

I guess its best if you do have a sewing machine, because it keeps the denim from fraying badly, but if you really wanted you can just skip that part ^

And it’s done! easy right? I think I might end up doing this to all my old trousers and jeans..

p.s. I just wanted to show you these new panda biscuits! Tried them for the first time today, they taste like baby biscuits that babies eat XD But chocolate flavoured!! I really like them. . . .

the faces are a bit evil though o.O !

Very Expensive presents haul. . .

So. my parents decided to spoil me =] !! All I can say is, they love me very much and I love them too. I know I’m a spoilt child. . but these are the first ‘designer’ items I ever owned.I also did NOT choose nor ask nor hint for any of these ! (apart from the hair dye =] )

Chanel J12 - It’s actually a watch designed for swimming or diving; not your typical bling bling CHANEL watch. which makes it perfect for me ^^. but really. it’s far too precious for me to wear it to go swimming o.O!!

After: you can still see where the roots were but they aren’t black anymore =] I should probably have left the dye on a bit longer =_=’

Shorts I made from scratch

I got a sewing machine for Christmas so I decided to make myself a pair of shorts. I bought the materials –fabric and lace trim for around £3 in total! I used my own shorts as a template..

Chose this deep red tartan colour. It’s really nice in real life, hard to get that colour on camera. . .

Trying them on. . . ^^ Btw sorry about my iphone pictures, my camera or SD card just decided not to save, so it’s broken at the moment ><’

The tights are from New Look.similar to the bow ones but without the bows! I still like them though. ^.^

Panda Bread attempt no.1

I knew this would happen. Back then I said I would never wear UGGs or fake lookalike ones because they make your feet look chunky and ugly. But I recently came across these ones with a toe cap, and I think they are quite cute !! I especially like the furry part at the top, so I gave in and bought them. . .

DIY Valentines day Chocolates <3

Hi everyone =] Valentines day is coming soon! What are you giving your loved one(s)?
I thought this year I would make an effort and try to make some chocolates!Here is a small selection I made, just as a practice run... I think I might be giving them out to friends and family too, ^__^ just to show some love =P

Oh course I made a panda one ^___^
I will try to show you how I made the heart ones
I used these silicon moulds that I got for £1!

*Tip*: The best way to melt chocolate is in a sandwich bag immersed in hot water.
1. melt some White chocolate and Plain chocolate

Fill a mould with plain chocolate, but not fully, leave a dip in the middle

Let it set in the fridge then take it out, and squeeze in some white melted chocolate. (cut the corner of the bag)

looks like a custard tart....

To draw hearts, put a circle of plain chocolate dots on top whilst the white chocolate is still melted

Using a toothpick, run it all around the circle of dots, and you will get a hearts effect!!

You can do this the other way around too, with white hearts instead. Also, if you don’t have moulds, you can just make chocolate buttons and do the same effect ( seen in the first picture )
